The deadline for registration has been officially extended for Danish agribusiness companies interested in մասնակցating in the upcoming Business Delegation to Bangladesh, scheduled to take place from 16 to 19 August 2026 in Dhaka.
The initiative, jointly organized by the Embassy of Denmark in Bangladesh and the Danish Agriculture and Food Council, is designed to strengthen economic cooperation and promote Danish expertise in Bangladesh’s rapidly growing agriculture and food sectors.
With a population exceeding 170 million and a fast-expanding agro-processing market valued at over USD 8 billion, Bangladesh is emerging as a key destination for international agribusiness investment. The sector is currently growing at an estimated 8 percent annually, creating strong demand for advanced technologies and sustainable solutions.
The delegation will focus on key areas such as biosolutions, climate-smart agriculture, food processing, cold chain logistics, dairy and poultry production, aquaculture, farm management, and waste-to-energy systems.
Participants in the delegation will benefit from a tailored program that includes market briefings, business-to-business (B2B) meetings, site visits, and networking events with government officials, industry leaders, and potential local partners.
According to the organizers, the initiative aims to provide Danish companies with direct market access and facilitate meaningful partnerships in Bangladesh’s agro-industrial landscape.
The participation fee for the program is set at DKK 17,750, following a 50 percent subsidy from Denmark’s Trade Council.
The new registration deadline is 1 June 2026, and interested companies are encouraged to secure their participation promptly.
For further details and registration, participants are advised to contact the organizers directly.
